Richie's solo album didn't do well here..neither did Jon's. There is a reason...they work well together.

The website this article came from also has the "Bon Jovi Vs Def Leppard" article which largely stole from points I made at the Def Leppard SOL board regarding Adrenalize.

I don't think much of this one either....more of that infantile speculation and alot of twisted facts.

nobody said that but then again JBJ didn't write only the lyrics, nor did RS write only the music.

Like the Beatles, Stones, Led Zep etc, BJ are greater than the sum of their parts. JBJ and RS are to put it bluntly the only 2 irreplacable members of the band. If any of the other 3 left then 95% of the album buyers wouldn't notice. Those 2 are the core of BJ you can't have 1 without the other.

to me.....bed of roses and dry county without the lyrics take away some of the songs' meaning and existance

I prefer Richie ( i think he's more himself and natural ) but, i don't think Jon sucks &lt;&lt;he seems to be a good man and he's got a great voice>>
