Jon is absolutley right...he knows that it may be the best song on the album...and is required for the big picture that the album gives...but won't release it as a single just to cash in on the sept 11 attacks, coz he actually made the album to help out...not to just earn revenue from it.

I don't understand why they (I guess it's the record company) mostly chooses the weak song as singles....Undivided would have been great as a first single, Bounce would be great,....sure Undivided is about 9/11, but it wouldn't be like BJ profit from it.

I remember how antiamerican they were.
Erm...how? I think you'll find they were famous a long long time before 9/11...

Since Bounce has been released, in magazines and interviews I often hear/read things that the interviewer has said about Jon wanting Bon Jovi to be like Bruce. Something I read said something about a song from the album (I can't remember what it was but it's probably Undivided) being almost a copy of Bruce's 9/11 songwriting work. Maybe he doen't want to seem as if he is copying Bruce?

I may be wrong but I read somewhere it's a song included on Scorsese's latest movie "Gangs of NY" (or something like that) soundtrack and it may have been written down before 9/11... (however I repeat I may be wrong). Getting back on the topic I'd agree with not cashing on 9/11. Undivided is great but imho shouldn't be released as a single.

Isn't U2's new song Electric Storm based on 9/11? I'm sure I heard it was. Ah well.

And while Undivided may be a 9/11 song, it is also about unity, a timeless concept. And they wouldn't just be releasing it to cash in....they's be releasing it because its got a great message, and it's a great song

Excactly. And I read an interview with Moby yesterday in my local newspaper where he said that he hates patriotic Americans like Bruce Springsteen or Bon Jovi who want to push their album sales by taking advantage of these events.

it's too heavy for the charts, it's not what people except from BJ, that's the reason why
