Am I defending Bon Jovi? Of course! Why? Because I actually like the band. I'm a fan. I'm not a critic. I'm not someone who says:

"Hey, "These Days" sounds great! I guess I'm a huge fan now. But I hate the rest of their albums... Bon Jovi should do exactly as I say. Jon knows that I own him, as well Richie, Tico, Dave..and even Hugh! They should make all of their albums just like this masterpiece!"

By the way, letitrock... The song is "I Got The Girl" ... not "I've Got The Girl"

Uh... personally, I don't think Dee Snider should be allowed to carry Bon Jovi's luggage so his opinion isnt' worth the breath he used to express it.

Anything Mick Wall or Malcolm Dome says can be chucked away as less than credible.

The band are respected... and dismisssed. Both. Neither is flat out 100% true. Funny though... there's a tone here that sees some of you actually enjoying the fact that the band are disrespected, as if that validates YOUR distaste for anything other than the holy shrine that is These Days...

the band are respected by many bands for being so "big" and selling so many records

you're completely right! you should have heard what he said too! he was criticising them because of their image (and talking about the 80s BJ)... and yet he was the guy wearing women's clothes, makeup, wigs etc and singing the most cliched songs known to man
