Technically, BOTH "I've got the girl" and "I got the girl" are correct. It depends on how you're using it. It could be "I got" as in "I received" the girl (like God gave her to ME). Or it could be "I have got" as in "She's MY little girl and you're not taking her on a date, punk. Yes, I do know how to shoot this thing."

Many of you probably approach albums PRAYING for the "These Days" formula. I hope for anything Bon Jovi can give. Do I have to like it? No, but I usually do. I can name plently of negative things about Bon Jovi. But why should I? Why should I sit around on a COMPUTER saying negative things about Bon Jovi, my favorite band, on a fan site?
