Another reason there will never be another band like Jovi for me... I am sitting here listening to the CAA NJ show.. have it blaring in my eardrums and I am ABSOLUTELY freaking out at how good it is. My heart is literally beating fast as I am listening to this. I did have some tears listening to Blood on Blood and hearing Richie on Wanted and it is just a damn recording that is doing this to me. I keep on letting out these screams of delight and people at my house are looking like me like I have lost it.... no other band can make me that excited listening to a frieken bootleg concert...

Let me say it again folks.. never ever will anyone ever top them~ never ever..

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

It's usually your teen - early adult years that you find your favourite band; you will never let go of them nor pick up any other band; sure like other bands, sure maybe not get over them, but there will always be just those one or two bands you have a passion for and can never let go. For me, thats Bon Jovi followed by Poets of the Fall and Dream Theater.

Default Band from Richie's hometown

"Who says you can't go home!" haha

hey' ya'll im a new member I have always been a huge Bon Jovi fan and lurked the boards for a while... but not until recently have I decided to register. The reason i decided to register now is because a band called Runaway Orange from my hometown in New Jersey (also the Richie Sambora's hometown) Woodbridge, NJ has a chance to open for the boys next week in CT. I'm not saying you all have to vote for Runaway Orange, but you should. Here is the link to the site to vote http://wplj.com/Article.asp?id=151482&spid= You can listen to the other acts and decide for yourself but I strongly believe Runaway Orange is the best fit to play with BON JOVI!!!

I'll be sure to post often now that I signed up, this isn't some random person spamming the board.

define what you mean by 'meaning' in the lyrics most of the songs that people have deecribed as 'meaningful' to me just make me want to jump off a cliff - whiney depressing rubbish - thats why there will nevr be another jovi for me whenever i listen to them (which is a lot) all i can do is smile no matter what mood i'm in (with the exception of these days album - bit ark for me i must say) - if i wanna sit in a dark room and cry i'll start listening to 'meaningful' songs but since i enjoy being in a good mood JOVI ALL THE WAY!!!!

i dont know whether this is the same in the US but over here in the UK our music makes us seem like we all match the rainy dull weather with the likes of coldplay, travis and stereophonics!!

No. There's something about Jon's voice that is unlike any other! His soul just pours out of his vocal cords. The synergy between he and Richie is almost palpable. The entire band has such a family feel.

I just watched the Stones perform half time at the Super Bowl and I couldn't help but think: The Stones are great, they're an institution. However, their music is so commercial and lacking in heart and soul. Jon Bon Jovi's songs are so . . . . I don't know, you can relate to them. His unassuming sex appeal is made even stronger by this innocence in his personality. He's delicious and the band is timeless.

I can't begin to describe how excited I was to see Edge of a Broken Heart was finally being released and I could stop searching the net for an LP from the soundtrack from the movie Disorderlies. I listen to it everyday. The song is so . . . perfect.

No because I have literally grown up with Bon Jovi. I remember being 5 years old dancing to "Livin on a Prayer". I remember 7th grade and buying my very first CD ever- the single of "Always". I remember how the These Days album was my soundtrack throughout highschool. I remember how excited I would get every time they were on television. They have always been 'my band', even when they were not as popular, they've always been number one with me. They have a song that relates to almost everything and their music has helped me through a lot of drama. There is no band on earth like Bon Jovi. They are not simply an 80's band- a point which they prove at every show!

I have grown up with them too. It's funny I remember buying the Always single on casette in 8th grade and it was the theme of our 8th grade school dance. They were always "my band" too even when they weren't considered popular. I remember being in middle school and all my friends were into Joey Lawrence and Jonathon Taylor Thomas and here I was in love with Jon! Too bad they didn't know what they were missing out on. So true that they do have a song that relates to almost everything. They are one group of people who have never let me down and their music has always been there when I needed it.
