Like Becky said Never say Never but it's not gonna be easy task for them they will have to sound good and also original (not a IML sequel) and they will have to *NOT program* a hit to have one imo
Agreed. DC was all over the Bounce record. Personally I think he's one of the reasons it was too slick of an album.

If they perist on using the same old forumula on songs like IML, HAND, Everyday and WWBTF, they will never have another hit song. They need to be braver and original. I thought they done this with MAM but radio stations ignored it.
I think they have now got to the stage where whatever they release, radio stations aren't interested because they are 'Bon Jovi'.

Something you might actually hear on the radio frequently. And as was mentioned before, look at Aerosmith. Their biggest hit was in 1998, and they're heyday was in the 80's. But that's only 10 years later, so maybe BJ is past that.

But never like Prayer.
Maybe they need Diane Warren to write them a song then and get it on a big movie soundtrack!

I'm betting my last 100 bucks (euros) on "This Ain't Love" since some reporter heard it before an interview and understood why they're keeping that one for the GH. Of course i'm not trusting a single opinion. It's just... let's call it blind faith.

The music industry being the way it is nowadays, I think anything can happen. I remember the time when Smells Like Teen Spirit was all over the airwaves and Keep The Faith wasnīt a chart topping album. A lot of people said the likes of Bon Jovi would be over. And that was almost 20 years ago.

Bon Jovi has been around for a quarter of a century and thatīs an enormous amount of time. The Beatles did what they did in 7 years. Iīd really like to know what would have happened, had they not split up in 1969. I suppose they would have ended up a lot like The Rolling Stones did, not having big hits any longer yet remaining a huge live act. In this respect, I think itīs extraordinary and actually phenomenal that Bon Jovi are still around and making new music and having big tours. Topping the charts or not.

I think itīs entirely possible they still make a huge hit song at some point. And when it comes to DC, I am glad they keep on working with him. Those 3 guys have created phenomenal songs together. But I admit the most succesfull Bon Jovi songs in the last few years werenīt co-written by DC.

Well with Richie being Lazy and Jon wanting to control all angles I cant see them creating something that will chart very highly.

Now if they colaborate with A)A different Song writer b)Another Artist C) Do a complete curb-ball and do a song with Eminem or Gaga then I honestly dont see them having a huge hit ever again-But would love to be proved wrong

That's an interesting point about The Beatles there. I reckon they'd still have had great hits in the early seventies and made great albums, I mean they all had huge songs on their early solo albums - George with My Sweet Lord, Paul with Maybe I'm Amazed, John with Imagine, even Ringo with Photograph. I'm sure they could've easily strung together a few more if they didn't hate eachother's guts as when they got together they still had chemistry, a la their contributions to Ringo's records, George's awesome slide guitar on How Do You Sleep and Ringo's drums on John and George's debuts.

However, even if they had split up, I doubt they'd have played live much. John and George did one tour each in the 70s and clearly didn't really like playing live. John was planning a tour when he died though, so who knows.
