Default Woman In Love

I was talking to a buddy the other day and he told me that Jon had said that Richie and Bob Rock convinced him to rewrite Woman in Love before they put it on the album. He hated the version that they used. I hope the original version makes the Box Set. It would be neat to see the kind of transition made between the two versions. I hope they put the two songs they combined to make In These Arms on there too.

Aloha !

I don't care what's on it, as long as it doesn't contain a collection of b-sides and live tracks that we already had on the bonus discs and CD maxi's/singles.

You're right, and for this reason: The box-set isn't going to be 'commercial', it's for the fans, we're told. The SAME die-hards who actually go through the trouble to import singles, get all the b-sides they can get their hands on. So to simply re-release all these on a couple of discs would be a bit of a kick in the guts, I'm afraid. Let's hope that when they say 'rare', they mean just THAT!!

AMEN!!! I don't want anything that's already been released. And I *really* don't want a bunch of live versions of songs that we already have 15 different official live versions of, even if they are from different shows.

I don't like woman in love, which is the baddest track on KTF with little bit of soul... they should have put starting all over again in place rather than this crap

that would be one reason to buy the boxset, but no, I will stick to my principles.

Jon said somewhere during the TD era that he had regret that he putted woman in love & little bit of soul on the KTF album because they wrote better songs for that album and because he simply didnt like them
