don't worry the baby`s gonna keep him young the stones ain`t young anymore but they still tour so he'll make it (I hope!!!!!!!!)

For David I just think they wouldn't find anyone like him anymore. Even before I started to adore him that much I already thought that his keys make BJ sound special. just different from other bands

they can replace them, but the guys they would pick to make their jobs wouldn'T be as good as tico and dave are, because they are just the greatest!!!i think jon loves too much dave(is friend since a long long time) and tico(his friend too from a long long time) to replace them. he need them and i dont think it will be the same without them.

I agree for Dave but he actually met Alec before Tico... But I think he admires Tico a lot as a person and even if he could replace him as a musician (which would be tough) he'd probably miss the guy to much.

You see, the thing about Bon Jovi is they are not simply musicians. They are a unit. The are musicians+showmen. They started from the bottom, they straggled, they had all those experiences together. And they grew up rock stars. True rock stars. That makes them different from many rock bands, and esp. from studio musicians.

E.g., everyone can see that Huey, inspite of being a very good bass player, doesn't really belong with the guys. He is a musician, but he is not like the other guys. He didn't grow up with the guys. You know what I'm saying? He doesn't really add to the show. He simply plays bass.

So, I think it's gonna be difficult to replace one more member.

I agree with this.

I think Bon Jovi are the 4 members, and I don´t want to be misunderstood...but Bon Jovi without Richie Sambora is "Jon Bon Jovi". But the band could survive without Tico or David (I don´t know without both). It wouldn´t be the same but they would survive

Didn't Richie say in a printed interview (sometime since Crush was released) that the band would survive as long as he and Jon were in it?

Yeah, and Jon in 1990 said that "the band could survive even if Richie leaves. Whether it would want to survive is another story."

It's not all about music.
