You know Alec (at least with a decent haircut) is much smaller than Hugh and he never hid Dave from the crowd... that's how better than Hugh he was!

I've been considering that question a lot recently since the talk about the box set being their swan song began. Look, they've been together for 20 years, they are like brothers, if something happened to any of them, I believe the band would split, period. Dave and Tico are expendable in the way that their talent is more replacable than Jon or Richie's, but they would not be replaced. Look at all these bands that go through line-up changes: Def Leppard, GNR, Whitesnake, Aerosmith in the 80's, Skid Row, where are they? They are on the $6.99 rack in the cd stores. I think Richie would carry on with his solo career, Dave or Tico would probably dabble in with Richie in that, but I think Jon is better off acting than doing solo material, just my humble honest opinion there. But also, the band may just split, they'd "rather die than fade away", but let's hope This Left... isn't what were stuck with.
