in a roundabout way I'd say they would have more respect....

If they were ugly they'd have a smaller following, and wouldn't be commercially right to get top 10 singles e.t.c....

So their music would not be aimed as much at selling on a really wide scale, but would be more for the fans, and so BJ woudln't have that 'sold out to pop' lable that people who like rock music but don't like BJ often think of them as....

Obviously it woudlnt' be that extreem, but I think their music would be less mainstreem, more true to their roots and so people would respect them more.
