Default Would Phil stay it Richie came back

Read a lot of people saying they would love Richie to come back and keep Phil on instead of Bobby.

Now we all know that would be totally amazing.....but do you think Phil would stay with the band long term if that was offered to him? I know he loves it up there, but i think if Richie came back it would not be as fun for him anymore?

So do you think Phil would stay if offered after/if Riche returns?

Not a chance.

Richie looked put out whenever Bobby got the spotlight. I'd imagine he'd be even more annoyed if a competent guitarist stole his solos.

I think he would jump at the chance but he'd never be offered it.

Yeah, wasn't Bobby being paid with Twinkies?

It's not gonna happen. I'd love if it would, but it won't.

I think Phil X is too good a guitarist to be standing behind Jon in the corner of the stage with no stage presence.....oh wait.

Phil would never want to be the 'second guitarist' in Bon Jovi. He's far too competent a lead player to get any fulfillment from that role. It may make Richie up his game a bit but I can't see him preferring Phil in the band in place of Bobby either.

Unlikely to happen. Better fire Bobby (keep him for your solo gigs Jon) and stay the 5 of you & plus us

I think Jon might offer the job to Phil to keep Phil around as an insurance policy against Richie going AWOL with 3 hours notice again. And I think Phil would be glad to take the job because he seems to really enjoy touring the world and playing big gigs.
