I don't think this album was made with any kind of success in mind, in or out of the US. It seemed to be strictly an "art" project, something Jon and richie had been kicking around awhile between them and wanted to try. I think that they were genuinely surprised and pleased with what came out of being in Nashville and very surprised and pleased with how the record did at it's release. They seem to be enjoying themselves immensely this time out, which at the end of the day is better for all, whether you particularly like the new material or not. A Jon, Richie, Tico and Dave enjoying themselves playing live and loving what they are playing makes for a much better live show than when they are playing by the numbers. The Bounce tour comes to mind.

As for a christmas record, I have no problem with it if the guys chose to release one, they have done some pretty great covers of Christmas classics over the years, but I'm not jonesing for one. It would be fun to have though.

They live up to their prime time and do not destroy memories as BJ do on their "Destroy your Memories Tour 2007/2008"

Mentioning "ART" and the disaster record of the year in one sentence is pure blasphemy!

Only to someone who is as delusionally upset about a single project as you are.
I really don't get it. If you really feel like this whole project is crap, that the band is playing like crap live etc...... why not just skip this tour year, find somewhere else to be where you enjoy what that band or artist is doing and check in again when BJ does something new??? It seems like such a waste of energy and time to be hanging out on a message board during a project you can't stand.

Yeah, then again, there's a lot of strange minds on this planet that do a lot of strange ridiculous things and just always come too late in life over all - like registering on a band fan board the day they stopped liking this specific band and posting crap ever since.

The energy is also wasted pretending the band is still "on top of their game" - have enough energy though. DOn't worry! Or you're a backstager?

I've had my doubts about him, but you're exactly what people here say about the people from Germany and still people wonder where you're coming from, 'cause you don't sound like anyone I've ever met on planet earth.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
