Richie has a great voice! even Kiss did that letting different ones sing at the album why not BOn Jovi? think it`s right cause jon doesn`t share.

Love David singing Tumbling and Dice, the chanukka song and of course ITA really good!! and tic of course Crazy, Walzing mathilda and wonderful world amazing!
Like I said.... No problem if there is a song with Richie on lead vocals.. I just don't like his voice, that's all.

What really makes me laugh is when people blame Jon for everything. Richie has a mind and mouth of his own, give him some credit.

But it's so much easier to see Jon as the bad guy. Personally I find it quite insulting to Richie to think that if he wanted to do something he would let himself be told off like a little kid by Jon. Give the man some credit!!!

I wouldn't like it if Richie sang like 4 or 5 songs on a new album. Jon is the lead singer for a reason, Richie is the lead guitarist for a reason. Let's keep it that way!!

One exception: Richie singing IBTFY.

But if I wanted to see Richie sing lead, I'd go see him on a solo tour!

No kidding. Whatever people don't like, they blame Jon. But God forbid someone praise Jon alone if the other members can assume to be involved. If it was such a big deal for Richie to sing, he could concentrate on his own solo CDs. He obviously doesn't have a problem with it. He's a big boy. He can take his ball and glove and go home if he wants. He doesn't have to have Jon and Jon doesn't have to have him. They CHOOSE to work together and they know what works for them. Richie didn't approach Jon and say, "I'm going to be your lead singer." He told him "I'm going to be your guitarist."

But it's easier to make Richie out to be a martyr without a backbone. I think it's very insulting to Richie to assume that he's just a wus who can't stand up for something he wants. Jon and Richie's body language alone tells anyone who sees them that they are very comfortable with each other. They love and respect each other. The tension and jelousies are in the minds of the fans. They must both pretty happy with their work together since they've been working non-stop together since 1999. If anyone wanted to raise a fuss, you'd think it would be the Tico or Dave fans since Jon and Richie let it be known that they're doing most of the work. Bounce was called a "Jon and Richie" record. Richie talked about wanting to do an acoustic tour with Jon. It appears from what info we're told that the two of them are always the ones together and working on TLFR.

I think it'd be cool to hear Richie on lead vocals for one song. A bonus track or something, but I doubt very much that this would happen. Yes, Jon have got the better voice and he's sung the lead for 20 years but I think it'd be cool for a one off song.

I like Richie's voice, I even think it is better than Jon's.
But BJ songs sound better when Jon is singing. I think they are kind of "made" for Jon's voice.

I wouldn't mind if Richie sang lead on one song on an album. I prefer Jon's voice, but Richie has a great voice too. I didn't even know that till I got a bootleg of one of his concerts from his solo tour for "Stranger" and I was blown away by how well he sang. Totally different type of songs from Bon Jovi, but amazing nonetheless. That bootleg actually convinced me to go out and BUY the SitT cd! Hopefully someday I'll actually get to see Richie sing lead vocals live.
Bon Jovi have been around 20 years now and Jon should obviously remain the prominent lead singer, but if a little "this left feels right", as in Richie singing lead on a song, felt right to them, hey, I'd say go for it.
