Sounds great! I hope there will be a section devoted to vinyl releases. I've always loved collecting vinyl and it would be great to have a reference point.

I'm not sure if you collect vinyl or have a reference guide to the production numbers and all. If you do not, I could make a list for you of what I have (title, contents, catalogue number). It's certainly not complete, but it would be a start.

I've got a book full of quotes from the band, but where should I categorize it? And am I arsed enough to type it all out? I don't think so...

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

You could scan some of the most memorable quotes? Just an idea...

I don't have any knowledge about pressed bootlegs, I've got a bit of information about it, but don't know if it's true. Nobody knows which bootleg has been released and where. So sorry, no pressed bootleg section. Sorry.

I don't collect vinyl myself but have a lot of information about it. As soon as any section with a lot of vinyl stuff (about the albums released in the eighties) is finished you can check what you have. It's nice of you offering to write down what you have, but so far I think I'm pretty up to date. However, there always appear some rarities by the time. So we'll see. Thanks for the offer anyway.

Scanning the memorable quotes is not a good idea. What memorable is to me, isn't for another.

I agree with Kathleen on having a really good tour archive, as complete as possible with the setlists and opening acts listed. Have you thought about getting pictures or ticket scans, etc, from shows to put up with the details of the show? Or maybe pictures/information from tour programs? I'm sure some of us on here have old tickets around that we could scan or pictures from particular concerts that we could provide.

Really great idea for making such a website Supersonic.
Only 1 thing i doenst understaind, you said you're not gonna add Photos because you could find it elsewhere on the net but in your screenshot i see a Pictures section. What is that then?

More ideas:
- Some snippets from the newspapers/ magazines,... from all around the world about bon jovi. would be cool.
(you can see some of these on http://users.pandora.be/iwillnotbreakdown/Bonjovi/
(some of Belgian newspapers)

- And a vinyl section i would really love to see. Maybe with writed what they are really worth of price, etc. So if you see it on a record fair you know that that LP is woth ...$. (cause i think i paid to much for Wanted Dead Or Alive LP - (24 euros on fair) with path and good condition. But then i had really no idea what was woth that one. But after then i saw it on Ebay for 5 euro or something. So a printable LP "catalogue" would be helpful.

- And ofcourse video stuff would be cool.
- (File Sharing) Forum
- Chatbox if it gets lots of visitors,....etc.

Sorry for my bad English

Other Idea:

Pics of Memorablia (Jewels, phonecards of bonjovi,.....collectable stuff)
but i think you can go on then because its to much i think.
But maybe you can just add the most strange, not known stuff. Like the Bon Jovi Box from crossroad (dont know if you know it - only 500 made) see it on http://www.bonjovi.at/ and then click on the Auction.

- Or pics from BJ Fans with their most fav. collection item

- Or even an penpals section to get fans togheter (but i know their are more of them on the net)

- Maybe you can add a poll on this forum with some of our ideas to see what most of them really want.

- And ofcourse a link section with my site in it lol

Details from a show will be there if there happened anything special during the show, or a rare song was being played. The tour programs is an interesting feature, but I don't have any. And it comes down to the same basically during every tour. A short biography, some lyrics and lots of pictures.

I personally don't see the use in trying to collect old tickets, I've never been interested in them and don't understand why people sell them on eBay.

That's not a picture section. Those are just small pictures from the front covers from all the CD's that are on the site.

That's not interesting because:
1. It's not all in English, so I can't check if it's anything interesting.
2. Most articles aren't that interesting, and just contain a few quotes from the band and a short biography.

However, there will be some interviews from Q, Kerrang and that sort of magazines, as they contain things the band actually said.

That's an almost impossible feature. Things always have different prices everywhere. And in what value should I do it anyway? Dollar, Euro, Yen? It's impossible. Sorry.

That one will never be on there, I think. This site has got a chatbox, but it's almost never used.

Not interesting - it's got nothing to do with the music anymore. And I'd never get that list complete, no one can tell me what was being sold during tours before the Crush Tour.

Those things will be on there. It contains music, it's officially released so it'll be on the site.

Nah, there are enough sites that have contact information.

[quote="Bon Jovi belgium"]- Maybe you can add a poll on this forum with some of our ideas to see what most of them really want.[quote]

What people want is not exactly what I want, if you know what I mean. No offense to you, but you come up with all these ideas while most of them just don't work or just don't have any value to the site I'm making.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I don't really get what you mean about "nobody knows which bootleg has been released and where". I just think it would be a great (and unique) idea to have a user submitted pressed bootleg archive. It doesn't have to be complete just add to it each time a new one is submitted.
