But with a new GH out the sales would rise anyway. I'm not sure you can put it all down to the X factor.

Ok, I just finally watched the performance. I really don't see what all the crying is about. It is what it is.. Bon Jovi on X Factor. Music tends to be playback with live vocals. Standard operating procedure for this type of show. It's not as if they were performing on the American Music Awards or Grammys. It's a contest.

One thing I've been pondering.. with it being the GH tour... if they are planning to bring back pyro throughout the show, not just in special shows or one song like KTF at NMS this year? It's been a long time since they've done it. I know they used it in Bad Name a couple of years back on one of the award shows and that didn't lead to anything. It would add some spice to a tour that is an overview of their past.

I hope so. Pyro is cool. It's awesome in these, and the crowd loves it.

i think the performance was ok, nothing special but by no means a disaster. more than anything it's great exposure for the guys and the new record. it was also pleasing to see richie given a little more attention this time.

one notable fact was how tired the whole band looked.

Pyro tends to quite used quite a lot on X-Factor so I wouldn't use that as any type of yardstick, would be cool though instead of the silly screens ;d

Started to watch now, zipping it to a 15 min start and then seeing Jamiroquai and Rhianna perform (not watching them). Figured the band must be on last of the 3.

Imagine my shock to discover they opened.... and with the contestants themselves!!!
That's horrendous....
I'm a little bit behind, but I actually tried to bury myself in the sofa at that point. Not right! Lol!! IMO they should have played the new material - despite it being promo for a GH album. I know, it's a catch-22. Everyone recognises Prayer which will drive their GH sales, but they have so many other songs that are equally as good if not better!
