I agree... I like that song! She's A Mystery is my least favorite Jovi song period.

I always loved She's A Mystery. It'sa beautiful song though I agree wth Javier that it kills the pace of the album and therefore shouldn't be on the album. Well maybe as a hidden track at the end.

I personally love songs like this, Mystery Train, Joey (my favourite from Bounce), Right Side of Wrong, Open All Night and Wildflower. I love them for what they are and they make albums more interesting then just having 12 straight-forward rock songs. A bit of diversity is good!

The thing about She's A Mystery is that it is very different to most other Jovi songs, for better or worse. And yeah, its place on the album does tend to kill the flow. Another thing I find about it is that I've never actually had the desire to just stick it on randomly ... if I'm listening through the album I'll listen to it, if I'm listening to a selection of tracks from the album I'll listen to it ... but never in isolation

I guess back in 2000, i was a mere 16 yr old (jesus, that long ago eh?) and now i look for a bit more from songs rather than the same old tried and tested formula we all know (and love).
I listened to Crush yesterday and ended up skipping IML, Just Older, Crash, OWN etc and going for Mystery tain and Shes a mystery instead. Now i do like my 'rock' music, but the other stuff keeps things interesting - thats why i think i may enjoy this upcoming album. Same with other songs, i scoffed at the likes of Joey, right side of wrong and Wildflower when i heard them but now i appreciate them more.

Anyone else found this?

The exact same thing happened to me with Something to believe in. First listened to that when I was 15 and didnt like it until I was much older and appreciated the lyrics.

Ermmmm Shes a Mystery isnt as bad as when I first heard it, prefer Mystery train though.

I'm always looking forward to the Bon Jovi rock songs, because that's when they're at their best. Songs like "Good Guys don't always wear white", "Hey God", "I believe", "One wild Night", "Last Man standing" etc.

But I also love the mellow ones... "Mystery Train" has always been a favourite of mine, right from the start. And "She's a Mytery" also. It wasn't just something different but something special. It just belongs on the album, just were it is it's perfect. It makes the album much more diverse and I'm glad they did a song like that. Simply beautiful.

But opinions can differ

Bah, I still hate She's A Mystery. I do like Mystery Train & Destination Anywhere, though. But Wildflower is utter crap.

Mystery Train, Joey and Wildflower are all decent songs, She's A Mystery is awful though as is Right Side Of Wrong (Worst Bon Jovi lyrics ever) which sounds like a poor mans version of Dying Aint Much Of A Living and that song is pretty bad in itself.
