What an awesome ****ing song. So damn cheesy, but it don't matter. It just makes me wanna dance in the shower or bust out some good ol' air guitar. The song isn't talked about enough on this board. Do YOU like it? Or simply think its overplayed and boring? I give it 3 thumbs up.

Overplayed and boring. I've never been a big fan of it.

It's the song that introduced me to the band, so I have a soft spot for it. I like the recorded studio version, but I've never thought the live version lives up to the studio version. The live guitar always sounds whiney.

Superb song. Perfect from start to finish.

No one can deny they've tried to pulled off Jon's moves either - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4WFYXT4bbo#t=0m47s

Cheesy - check.

Perfect - CHECK.

Do I agree? - Check

It is cheesier than the pizza with extra cheese I had for dinner, it has been played at every Bon Jovi show since 1986, and I still love it. Who wouldn't? It isn't talked about enough around here. I guess there's just a general consensus that we all love it.

I think it sounds better live, though. OWN tour style with the pump up thing like here.

It's a good song. I'm not crazy for it live, but I understand the importance of the song in a live show - this song should never be dropped from the setlist.

It's a great song that gets often overlooked because it's been overplayed by the band (with rightful reasons). It's an incredibly important song for the band's legacy and it's brilliant in its cheessyness

Oh and I always love an excuse to post this performance of the song (my favorite performance of the song since 2000.)

I think that's the best one too. It sounds much more full with Jon on guitar.
