I love the song, it's one of the first Jovi songs I heard and loved.

I don't like it as much as I did. It's way overplayed and I find it a little boring, but I would still be disappointed if it didn't make the setlist.

As cheesy as it is, that's what makes it great.

It may well be the greatest hard rock song ever written. I heard in January 1987 for the first time. That was the very moment I became a Bon Jovi fan.

Itīs magic.

Dude not only that but just look at the energy Richie and Tico are putting into the performance! The riff almost sounds mean and the solo was played with more energy than he puts into an entire show now. Tico was having an awesome time back there, it was like "whoa Jon said my name, let me really strutt my stuff in here!!!"

Don't listen to it often, it's just another song for be. However, it's amazing live. During my first Jovi show that intro gave me huge goosepumps. And I'll never forget that when the song started after the opening "Shot through the heart..." line, my whole sector stood up very rapidly. There's always a great atmosphere during this song, especially during the crowd participation.

For those too young to remember how it is supposed to sound:

you see, I think the chorus of it sucks. I Just dont like the high-pitched vocals I guess. Never really enjoyed any of the pre-1992 versions of the song.
