If I could play like David, I'd be a professional musician too! I went through the phases of piano lessons quickly, but just knowing how to hit the right keys doesn't make you a great player. David has a gift.

Yes, David can play keyboards. I voted no, because for the last 5 years he's refused to! Listen to the way he used to play in the 80's, tickling around with synths, and using a heavy hammond sound..... Listen to him now, if he does actually play anything, it's strings, or piano, i.e a backing for Richie. His solo on the These Days tour was pretty poor, but at least he made that little effort. This was lacking on Crush, where he didn't bother at all. Keep the Faith was the last time David was a part of the band as a musicain!

I just can't get over the direction Bon Jovi are taking. How can any keyboard player be content being the play button! All he does now is play the samples, and controle some of the midi stuff.... it's pathetic. If this is playing keyboards, then why don't the likes of Rick Wakeman, or Don Airey just play samples, answer, because they're great players, and David isn't..... Compare the solo Don did on the last Deep Purple tour, with that that David did on These days, it's almost like it's a different instrument!
