I really really adore TD, but I cant say its the best BJ album. I adore SWW and NJ too, but when I would have to choose the best album i would be batling between TD and KTF and I think I could not decide.

BTW There is plenty of really good post TD songs, but they are not compiled in one album that could match those before...

BTW Dont you see the creativity, passion, emotions in this lyrics? There is something about theme that makes them "TD fell like". Theres something about them, that while listening to that song, just like any from TD i can see the picture that could represent the song... Thats something special about TD.

Love lives in New York City
He got a place off of the park
Heard he was standing in the ruins
And in his hands a broken heart
He called an army of his angels
I heard they had to hide their wings

...
Let it flow though you, baby
Run it through your veins
Like a healing rain
Everywhere you'll see
Another reason to believe
I saw him down south of Canal Street
Right there in a mother's eyes
At a table in a restaurant window
In a taxi passing by
Love went running up the stairwell
When the sky came falling down
It was him in a newborn baby's cry
He was there to make that sound
That keeps this whole world spinning 'round

Listening to These Days straight through gets very boring because the music's emotion doesn't change direction. Life is a mish mash of changes in emotion, and Keep the Faith nails those emotions. Granted, These Days is the perfect "sad" album.

And Seb, I'd tell you a story about several of the songs from Crush, Have a Nice Day, and *gasp* most of all Lost Highway, and the emotions and lyrics from those songs/albums influencing my life...but it wouldn't change your opinion anyway, so I won't bother.

And TicToc, are you kidding?! These Days the true favorite album of the Bon Jovi fan?! How about the favorite album for the true sheep on this board? (and not everyone is a sheep)
These days does not have a duff track unlike Keep the faith.

Woman In Love?
Fear? ( So dated its untrue)
I Want You?

As for your sheep statement....

Its true, but i'm gonna say something now;

These Days isn't perfect, the European/ Japanes version WERE.

If I'm not mistaken those version nowadays also don't have All I want is everything & bitter wine. Otherwise ARE.

These Days is missing a song ala All I want is everything / Prostitute.
I was used to the version with that song. I lost that version and lately i've been listening to the one without.
Ending such a cd with diamond ring is a sin. So therefore I can maybe maybe understand those silly Americans...

Still, I think it rips everything else apart.

If it wasn't for These days (which I grew up listening to) I doubt I'd be such a fan of Bon Jovi.

With every new album I pray they return to that place in there heads when they made these days.
