To some it could be - especially if you live in a place that would require travel.

But maybe 20 years ago she was too young to go...

Should I apply to be the Devil's Advocate?

I guess.

I don't know - If I was a die hard fan (which I am), I'd find a way. She's obviously not detstitude - She's got a computer.

What about 2 years ago? Or 3 years ago? Or 5 years ago? Or 9 years ago?

Eh, who knows? I can't stand when people call themselves lifelong diehard fans because they think Jon's hair is cool.

Maybe she's an alien from Jupiter, and she's tied into our server through a virus, like in Independence Day.

Being a hardcore fan has NOTHING to do with how many shows you've been to or how many cds or dvds or bootlegs, posters, etc. you own! Being a hardcore fan is being moved by the music you hear, getting almost choked up when you hear THAT song that means so much to you, sticking with the band through the ups and downs and never giving up hope and faith that they will always be THE BAND for you! I've been a fan for 12 years and this will be my first concert too. I don't have any bootlegs of any performance Bon Jovi ever did and I don't analyse every note of music to see if it's original or if they borrowed parts of other songs. However, I have never in my life lost faith in this band even if I'm a little less enthused about their material since 2000. I still think Bon Jovi are the best band in the world for me because they write songs that I can relate to and that can make me lose it because of their beauty! That's what being a hardcore fan is!
