I really like it. It's fun, it's glammy, it gets stuck in your head. Does it deserve to be played as often as it is? No way. But it's one of their poppiest songs.

Plenty of haters for King of the Mountain. I dont mind it myself. I'd much rather it over Price of Love and (I Don't Wanna Fall) To the Fire.

I'm with you there... in fact it is probably my 4th or 5th favorite off that album,

It is kind of silly and certainly dated, but it is pretty solid rock song.

I really enjoy the studio version... it was a really different, cool song for them at the time. But they have never really been able to capture the magic of studio when played live. I think it might have to do with Jon playing the acoustic. A) the acoustic guitar kind of softens the sound.. it would be much edgier with one or two distorted guitars B) Jon being stuck behind the acoustic hinders the performance (the exception being when he uses it to get the crowd waving).

I don't care if I ever hear it live again... unless of course they change the way it is played. But pulling it out 3 or 4 times a tour wouldn't hurt.

Just kidding, those are my favorites. But if there are songs that I truly hate, that I never never listen to , they are: Bullet, Who says, Say it isn't so, The more things change and Bed of Roses/Always/KTF from TLFR ... that is just pure horror !!
