"Every Word Was A Piece Of My Heart" has a special place in a piece of my heart... If you can play it on guitar then you'll like it even more. I sang this to my girlfriend once. See, this album is great but it wasn;t so famous which means you can sing it to people and take all the writing credit for it. Just hope to God none of them are die hard Jovi fans that have the record...

This is a great album, in my opinion the last one that had a lot of heart in it, unlike Crush or TLFR. Bounce was kinda cool... Anyway, DA is pure artistry and you can tell that it was an album that Jon wrote as he was thinking "OK, I got fame and money, maybe I should do an album of MUSIC for the soul and not for the Top 40 radio"... Great step for him.

The only bad thing that These Days and Destination Anywhere did - They set many people's hopes high for Crush.

Someone tell me, what the hell were they thinking with TLFR anyway?

This record is outstanding. I listen to it very often. Today it sound as fresh as it did 6 years ago. Hopefully Jon will make another solo album soon.

Love this record. My favorites are It's Just Me and Cold Hard Heart.

I've bought this album a few weaks ago & I love the hole album. Among songs I prefer: DA - it's a very private song for me... "Destination anywhere name the plase & I'll be there..." looks like story of my love... I meat a pretty girl in chat on one russian site about Bon Jovi... she lives 1889 km. from me... But I have reached the plase she named to see her for first time... & soon we'll be togever for a hole life...
Also I love August.... it's very sad one. Jons voice's amazing here.

I think it shows a real depth to Jons song writing. Great album to listen to from start to finish

Dont like the first 4 songs that much but I absolutly love Little City & Its just me + Cold hard Heart.

Whole album is absolutely brilliant!
