Default Your favourite live performances ever

I'm doing this for the good of the board. This will end up with people saying ''we have the YouTube thread for this!'' and ''this has been done before'' and 'Bon Jovi are terrible''.

Nevertheless, I'm bored of clicking on topics that have nothing interesting in them. The only interesting one on this page (which isn't out of date) is the topic on Richie Sambora's voice. So...

What is your favourite live performance ever? I'll go for some of these:

Livin' On A Prayer + Wanted Dead Or Alive (VMA Awards '89)

Livin' On A Prayer ('An Evening With Bon Jovi '92)

Something To Believe In (Minneapolis - 2003)

Dry County (New Jersey - 2006)

I think 'Dry County' from Giants Stadium in 2006 is probably my ultimate favourite. It's not the best technically. Jon's voice isn't amazing. There is just something about it, though.

I'm glad someone else is doing the same as I have been doing; creating topics for the good of the board. Well done, young lad. Sadly, Bon Jovi are terrible, this has been done and we've got a YouTube thread for this. An A for effort though.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

If I get an A for effort then it's all good. Why don't you post some performances? You'll feel good for doing so!

No, like I said, Bon Jovi are terrible. Listening to Bon Jovi makes my testicles shrink.

That said, some of their older stuff is actually a joy to listen to, but most of it is not on YouTube due to there not being any video of it. There's a good version of Keep The Faith from the European leg of the Keep The Faith tour online though:

It's not the best one out there but this one comes close. Jon was in his prime that month on that tour. The Japanese leg that followed was great too, after that it went slightly downhill compared to how he'd been singing earlier that tour.

As for best (or most interesting) live performances captured on video; this user pretty much has them all:

This band is ON.

This is probably my favorite performance of I Believe.

And this one just rocks.

Indeed it is. It was quite the change there. Sometimes I have trouble believing that the Bon Jovi of 1992 (or at least the Jon of 92) was the same as from the 80's. And as time has progressed, it's the image gotten even further from the 80's.

But that may be just what Jon wants...

Hey God -
When I was first getting into the band, there was just a horrible, grainy version of this on YouTube, but I remember watching it over and over and over. Amazing performance, and in front of an awards show audience rather than "real" fans, too!
