The sad common denominator here is that there is an awful lot from the 80s and 90s and very little from the 2000s.

That says everything. Kinda like an unofficial poll going on here

This is also one of my favorites. Fantastic version of Saturday Night.

I think they were still awesome in the early 2000's, but it is kinda the truth. I still love Bon Jovi, and they are still a fantastic band now, but I think many can agree that they were even better in the 80's and 90's. I'm not being negative here, just realistic.

That said, this Circle Tour version of Faith is pretty damn awesome.

Most of the Crush and One Wild Night tour is pretty forgettable actually. There's a few good performances here and there but most of it was quite average, especially Jons vocals. There's a few shows in Europe from 2000 where the band were peaking but that's about it, the shows in Wembley are very, very average, despite their length. He did warm up his pipes and came back stronger on the One Wild Night tour but just couldn't be arsed to fire up his voice.

The shows on the Bounce tour were quite good apart from Jons voice which was seriously failing back then. There are awesome renditions of Keep The Faith and Sat. Night from the Bounce tour where Jon gives everything he has such as this one:

Pretty much everything on that performance is awesome, apart from Jon's pants. Would he have been singing everything with the warmed up pipes from the One Wild Night tour and would he have given up smoking it'd been the best tour from the past decade, despite the stale setlists. The problem with pretty much every tour is that Jon takes an awful lot of time to warm up, it's only once they've done about 40 shows he really gets going but most legs had ended long before that amount was reached.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I've watched a few videos from that show (Anaheim 2003) and while his voice was still bad in parts, he makes up for it with the way he really wants it. The 'Blaze Of Glory' performance is great except for that part he always struggles with*. His 2003 voice at times seemed rather powerful.

This is the live performance that probably has received the most plays on my iPod, Always - Wembley 1995:

I actually preferred the version of Always from the show I was at in Milwaukee 08-11-1995 (Seb wrote about this?), but no YouTube video of that.

More recently, I'll take any of the Love's The Only Rule performances from The Circle tour, like this one from St. Paul 04-07-2010:

For all the (at times warranted) bellyaching about Jon going through the motions, for whatever reason, he really seemed to care about this song. I think that shows in the live performances of LOTR.

Blood on Blood from Philly in '89 comes to mind.
As for newer and random from left field, I love the version of I Got The Girl W/Tom Petty's American Girl from the Euro let of the LH tour. Not saying it's one of the best or anything, but I do listen to it a lot.

I agree with you. Bounce tour was the best for me from era 2000. Some performances of Saturday were just amazing and probably the best.
