Default your favourite vocal moment

What is everyone's favourite part of a song, vocally? A few examples of mine:

In "I Want You" - "But never made our house a home"

In "If That's WHat It Takes" - "I'll be there before you hit the ground"

In "With A Little Help From My Friends" cover - "I......need someone to love me..."

when Jon hit these notes, it blew me away. The power and range that man has. Not many men can hit these notes in full voice, without going into a falsetto.

I think the vocal intro to someday i'll be Saturday night live is wicked, I have a couple of Japan 2001 boots and it's them that sound awsome.

my absolute fave is in "living in sin" the "when we bth turn out the lights"- not because of the lyrics but because of rchie's background vocals- it's unbelievable and live it's even more magical

my fave vocal moment is when Jon sings "in a world that gives you nothing, we need something to believe in" the last time and he nearly cries the last words.

ALL of "The Distance."

The way Jon does this little trick with his voice that is so uniquely Jon. He uses it for "school" in "Lay Your Hands on Me" and also in "Billy Get Your Guns."

Every word of "How Long Has This Been Going On?" Jon sounds amazing singing that style. George Martin said he did that song in one take and it was perfect.

The end of "Bitter Wine." When Colleen and I were roomates we had a rule that all conversation had to stop and we had to pay attention to Jon when that song came to an end. It was her idea, but I gladly agreed.

The end of "This Ain't a Love Song." A DJ once commented that if he could sing like that, he'd never be alone on a Saturday night.

The emotion conveyed in "Something to Believe In" makes it very powerful.

Jungle screams during "Keep the Faith." Grrrrrr.

Sometimes on live versions fo "Blaze," Jon will sing the word "deep" really deep. I LOVE when he uses the lower area of his vocal range.

The spoken lines of "Right Side of Wrong."

As you can imagine, I could go on and on and on talking about my favorite vocal moments!! I LOVE Jon's voice so much.

Becky
