1st one i bought was 'slippery'. i heard on the radio prayer and bad name, and i decide to have it. also, it was the 1st record i ever boght, and i remember it was a chrome tape (it's still at home, but through all the years some songs sound like a chiken). my brother bought it to me in cd format some years ago.

i remember when i was on the store, trying to decide wich one i should have:

bon jovi: as i knew runaway
sww: as i knew the ones above
7800: as it has a great cover!

finally i decide sww, and that was the beggining of my 'bj-obsession'

My first album was "Slippery When Wet". It was 1986 and I was seeing the video for "Bad Name" on TV all the time and totally fell in love with the song and the band - especially the interaction between Jon & Richie - so I bought the cassette tape.

My next albums were "New Jersey" and "Blaze of Glory". I think around 1991 I finally upgraded to cd's and joined the Columbia House music club and bought the first 2 albums, plus "SWW", "NJ" and "BoG" on cd. Since then I've bought each album (except Richie & Dave's solo stuff which I do now have) on the release date.

This is when I bought my first album, KTF, too. It was January 8, 1993. I had seen the video for the title track on MTV, and I thought the song was great. I had to choose between 3 sides to every story and KTF, and I decided to get Bon Jovi. At the time, Bon Jovi was on MTV all the time, and I had some of the weekends on tape prior to the album.

I don't really remember that well because it was too long ago!

I was 12 and a friend of mine had copied for me KTF and SWW. I fell in love with both album and bough myself a tape of SWW, NJ and KTF.

couple month laters I discovered 7800 and BJ.

Then a couple years later I bought everything again in CD.

Tecnically, my first CD with BJ was actually a compilation of different artists. I wanted the CD just for the song It's My Life. I got it for my 16th birthday. Then, it was stolen, so I bought a second copy.

My first REAL Bon Jovi CD was Bounce. I bought it last October while shopping for a present for a friend. I just saw the CD and instantly said IT MUST BE MINE!!!!!! I was a fairly well-established fan by that time. I had heard Cross Road, OWN, KTF, and TD by checking them out of the library.

I bought all the other Bon Jovi albums in reccord time. I had gone from no CDs to all of them in less than two months! LOL!
