"....And the days go by, I can feel it flying
Like a hand out the window as the cars go by.
It's all we been givin', so you better start livin',
Better start livin' right now!"

It's true when you think about it. Time waits for no one, and before we know it we'll all be 5 years older on here grumbling about something. Probably that Bon Jovi aren't releasing enough albums or the new album/solo albums are shite.

Supposed to be, but you don't have to. I'm not gonna start looking to settle down until I hit 28 or even 30. Need to live a little more yet I think. I am also gonna do some traveling in the next few years too if I can while I'm young free and single, because if I don't then I'll regret it later in life. I suppose it's a little harder for a woman though as most women tend to settle down earlier than men, but there's definately nothing stopping you living a bit first.

Exactly. It's best to do what you want to do in life whilst you have the opportunity. And although we're moaning about feeling old I guess we're not really - it's just that time flies by so quickly. Still got our whole lives ahead of us

I get the gist of this and basically agree, however, there are a couple of things I'd like to point out:

1) don't put a time line on settling down. You can settle down with and without a significant other and you can do it any time you feel like it - not because you hit some magic number. Otherwise, you'll put some unnecessary pressure on yourself to get things done before a certain point, etc...

2) If you think that you can't do what you really really want to do anymore once you've settled down, you are settling down with the wrong person or settling down too early

I know this from experience

Thanks, and you're right. They aren't so much strict time lines, they are just really guidelines. Who knows what fate the future holds? I could be lovestruck by this time tommorow and be married before I'm 25. Though having said that I'm certianly not gonna rush into marriage. That's one thing I may wait a long time for, or may not even ever do.
