Thats the leather jacket used in the Matrix, without the belt if I remember it correctly. If it is not the same jacket then the desing of the "matrix jacket" is greatly inspired by the SS Jacket.

I learned the term trench coat was named after the coats the soliders wore during WWII while laying in the 'trenches' ....
