Slash was great. I've never really seen anyone in an intimate venue before... but this was 1300 people so it was really close and it seamed everyone sang along louder to songs sweet child of mine and Civil War louder than they would at an arena concert. I really enjoyed it - Slash and Miles joked with the audience and it was really, really cool... he also said that he was playing with the best band he has ever been with and it seamed like he meant it. Lots of chemistry on stage and it was pretty cheap tickets... I payed $40 for my floor tickets.
The setlist was so:
1. Ghost
2. Mean Bone (Slash's Snakepit cover)
3. Night Train (Guns N' Roses cover)
4. Sucker Train Blues (Velvet Revolver cover)
5. Back From Cali
6. Civil War (Guns N' Roses cover)
7. Rocket Queen (Guns N' Roses cover)
8. Do It For The Kids (Velvet Revolver cover)
9. Doctor Alibi
10. Watch This
11. Dirty Little Thing (Velvet Revolver cover)
12. Starlight
13. Just Like Anything (Slash's Snakepit cover)
14. Solo/Godfather Theme
15. Sweet Child O' Mine (Guns N' Roses cover)
16. Rise Today (Alter Bridge cover)
17. Slither (Velvet Revolver cover)
Encore-
18. By The Sword
19. My Michelle (Guns N' Roses cover)
20. Paradise City (Guns N' Roses cover)
Ghost was a really good opener and I liked the choice of Mean Bone as the second song, really quickend the pace. The Slash Godfather theme solo was EPIC and the lead up into sweet child of mine was the icing on the cake. The only song that really didn't belong was the Alter Bridge song... I know Miles is the lead singer of Alter Bridge, but quite honestly after a killer guitar solo and Sweet Child of mine it just flattened the crowd. Luckily Slither picked it right back up...
