That's because he's English. There are a lot of us over here. I'm not having a dig at your country or anyone in particular but I notice that certainly quite a lot of male Americans are arrogant. There are a few that are great people, but I think it's the way of life and maybe the government, media, etc probably have a big influnence on the American public. I know exactly what you mean. I've encountered a few people who are up there own asses.
