I don't know.. I doubt any one in the future can actually claim that he could sing in 2022.. this is next level horrendous. And I've NEVER complained about his voice in previous tours.. it was to be expected going into his 40s then 50s. But I didn't expect this at 60 - he sounds like some one doing very bad karaoke. I'd prefer David Bryan to take over lead vocals and I've never really loved his voice. This may be the end sad to say.

Big Mayer fan here.

Just watched Wanted from this show. Holy shit. That's cringe inducing. He's not even close to the level of a wedding band singer. I haven't a note in my head and I can sing as good as he did there.

He'll do this tour coz he's committed to it but I hope he never goes back out doing live shows sounding like that. It's sad and it's pretty embarrassing. And he's stealing a living if he continues to tour sounding like that.

I don't pay much attention to other singers' live shows so I hear stuff about "so and so lost his voice" but I struggle to believe that any of them are that bad.

Don't know where John Mayer comes into the picture but other than that... John Mayer is amazing and Sob Rock is an amazing album. Love it how this guy changes styles every album, yet it's always quality.
