Salaam Aleikum,

Yeah, and it seems like it is part of his setlist now, so they were getting it whether there were thousands of Jovi fans or two.

Richie didn't seem to want to be there, which I am not blaming him for this time as it looked fuucking awful.

Agreed. I actually liked him.

I didn't have a problem with him wearing headphones at all tbh. If it's his thing that he prefers a headphone mix as opposed to having stage monitors, so be it. He's also a much more proficient and solid drummer than the other guy in my opinion too.

Are you serious? He has a click track and/or his monitor mix in those. Maybe his ears have been damaged by playing loud music so he needs to protect them, much like Paul Gilbert has to these days.

Paranoia.

I guess he's doing both -- he wouldn't need a wired headphone if hearing protection was the goal. And I only criticized the way it looked: if you've concluded that I concluded that I thought he was a BAD drummer, the paranoia is all yours.

But as long as you've touched on the subject, here's a punk rocker who blew her ears out and has dedicated herself to warning music fans since the mid-nineties: http://www.hearnet.com/about/about_kathy.shtml

You're the one looking for "curious" explanations where there are none. It was not about the way he looked.

And who gives a **** what he looks like? I'm sure you find Paul Gilbert funny and "curious" as well. Would you prefer they become deaf?

As long as the guy is playing, who cares what he looks like?

And here's a totally irrelevant picture of Robert Downey Jr. who just so happens to capture exactly what I feel every time I read another one of your replies with useless additional information in it.

Shame on me for providing information on how to protect our hearing at concerts. But I knew you'd be along -- and I knew that it wouldn't bother you that someone here has gone as far as to compare Richie's drummer to a dog. You've wanted me to give you proof than you're no more lucid that I am -- now you've got it!
