Please, anybody can help me with dime? I've tried in the past, I just want to be able to upload all I have just so I can hopefully download one day, but I was never able to do it before and I tried several times

Who should I contact to activate my user or whatever? I don't know if what I have is interesting enough, but I have more than 200gb worth of material. The only problem is, it's not my material, I'm just a seeder (and a serious one, I'm the only seeder on lots of shows), I don't know if dime only wants original uploaders?

Thanks anyway, I understand why these thinks work like this and I fully support it. I just want to be able to be part of it.

Strange reactions... I just said I have no time to reoccupy myself with torrents (after many years where I am not using them at all), and not-very-seriously commented that it is as if Thierry wants to attract people to dime.

EDIT: Now I saw on the new album thread, that this recording is supposed not to be spread. Ok. It is a bit contradicting, if you share something in the internet, even in a more closed community, like dime, you can't be sure no one will "spread" it. But ok anyone can have his own approach to these things.

Not sure how long it will take them to confirm new members. Essentially, if the stuff you want to upload isn't already there then crack on.

Thanks, I feel stupid, I checked the help section before but I never found the way to contact them.

I have lots of shows sitting on my laptop, hopefully something interesting enough, it's worth a try.

Concerning giving back: I've taken the illicitly spread version of the recording and applied a little sound doctoring and mastering on it. And I'd like to give that back to Thierry and y'all. Any suggestions on how to best do it, without further violating Thierry's rule of not spreading?

Dime is pretty much the ubiquitous place for shows to be uploaded, so maybe the assumption on our part was that people knew this- however, given the mess of the WAN tour and the Asian tour which only completists and masochists would want to download, its probably then been 5 years since there's been anything decent to download Jovi-wise, and with people joining all the time since then it's probably remiss not to expect people not to know. But the few posts did appear critical towards Thierry who was simply giving away something for free, and then someone else decided to rip it to MP3 and circulate it without any credit also to rub it in.

Thierry will know more than me, but I would guess that remastering or doctoring the MP3's isn't worthwhile, best off looking at the FLACs although I believe these have already been mastered, but if you want to play with them, go with the FLACs

No worries, it seemed easier to find yesterday than today for some reason. Bit annoyed my account lapsed as I had a decent ratio. Oh well. Seems a strange way to start by not allowing people to download/upload from the get go, they should just stick a 1gb limit or something to avoid massive hit and runs rather than having people wait god knows how long for a mod to reply or not.

Yeah, I don't get it either. Some people don't seem to understand what effort some us take to get the best quality and I think it's just disrespectful.

That being said - I've given the original FLAC files to a few selected people I know and who couldn't get it from dime. So if anybody else needs to be hooked up with a link let me know - Thierry's done enough work on this already.

I want the best quality file, available on the platform/s I choose, and I want to be able to reproduce it and pass it on. If I can't do that, you guys who took the time to record it, format it, and post it on a platform I don't like have just wasted my time.

Look these guys worked hours on these audio files. It's ok to have some requests, like not spreading them everywhere. Of course you can convert them in mp3 and listen to them in your smartphone. The issue is about passing them publicly...

Please re-read the reply of bonjovi90 about the effort and the respect.
