EDIT: Now I saw on the new album thread, that this recording is supposed not to be spread. Ok. It is a bit contradicting, if you share something in the internet, even in a more closed community, like dime, you can't be sure no one will "spread" it. But ok anyone can have his own approach to these things.

Not strange reactions at all. The taper, who is a long time member and contributer, was gracious enough to upload it and direct us to the location of the file.

You can't access it because you haven't contributed on dime yourself? Not his problem. You can't be bothered to deal with a torrent site? Not his problem.

It takes some pretty big balls for someone to criticize the format he chose to share it and to bitch about his request to not distribute his file to others, especially someone who has only been a member here for four months.

Well, I had not realized (even in my 'edit' line) that the not spreading was about not converting to .mp3. Anyway I never criticized the format, and I never bitched or complained about sth. I just said that I wouldn't have time to make a descent dime profile to download this, and then I did make a somewhat ironic comment, but not in a bad way. I mean I just joked saying that Thierry works for dime (since I have been very torrent uninformed the last... ten years or so..), which anyways is not some heavy insult.

And then you have his responses. Actually the "fαcκ you" I could still perceive as a joke, but then he said that he won't do this recording/sharing again, and you got this sort of polarizing in the thread with people coming to defend Thiery & so on.

I just downloaded the flac, and thanx much for your recording, mastering and sharing Thierry!

Apart from that, we are all good (forum-)friends and good people and let's take our discussion a bit lightheartedly. We are after all talking about music, and music is there to bring us all together, and to make us better people.

Yeah it is a bit vague the last statement, but whatever. It is late night and I am tired. Cheers.
