While the quality is really good (but I think Thierry knows what he's doing ), I found it the volume to be rather low and "remastered" it.

Unfortunately, since I've done that based on the MP3s that someone posted here, and Thierry doesn't want it to be spread (at least in a "lossy" format), I don't know how to get it out to you guys (if anyone's interested that is), though I'd really like to, because I think it turned out quite good. I've PMed Thierry a version of one song to get his opinion, but haven't heard anything back since...

But yeah, Rdkopper is right (never thought I'd say that haha, joke ), once a soundboard is out, this will all be rendered moot, I guess...

The more I listen to this show the more I think there should be a re-packaging of the album with a bonus disc of one of the shows. Just based on the 4 songs we have in studio form, there is plenty of contrast in the live format that begs listening to both the studio and live versions.

Ok. Didn't sound as great in the car as on my speakers anyway, but since the soundboard will be out soon, I won't spend anouther couple of hours on it

I would agree with this however they never mix those things correctly... Bootlegs might actually work in Jon's favor... We all heard the Ellen and Good Morning America streams and Jon's voice is always the loudest in the mix... And then if they throw the best songs onto a disc, they'll use autotune and whatever else to butcher it even more... If they could only capture that bootleg sound in HQ, I might agree.... My best owned shows from the 80s and 90s are Bootlegs... They give you that feel of being there... Once they literally go through the SB, they sound like shit...

The equipment bootlegger used in the 80s and 90s were the best... Especially in Japan... My best sounding shows are bootlegs from those times... it's all about the digital recording devices / cell phones... It doesn't help that Jon's voice and even the bands sound has changed too... As my prior post stated, as excited as I am to get these songs ia a SB recording, having a HQ boot would be nice too... if they played in Japan we'd have one...
