I don't post here much anymore, as the popup ads still try to take over my browser. I did, however, want to see the reviews for the Toronto shows.

My last Jovi concert was Toronto 2006 (way too long ago) and every time they schedule Toronto I wonder if I should try another road trip. But it's just so expensive with the airfare, hotel, and not to mention the near impossibility of getting good tickets without spending a fortune. So once again, no live Jovi for me.

And this time, with Jon being sick and rescheduling shows, I would have been having a nervous breakdown wondering if the Toronto shows would go on. Also, knowing Capt. Crash was played the 2nd night, makes missing the shows a little easier, as I think that song is a complete waste of concert time. And I've had to suffer through it 3 out of the 5 concerts I've attended!

I agree with scottyleafs that Toronto has good crowds. But so does Montreal. In 2000, I did Toronto and Montreal shows, back-to-back, and Montreal won the crowd contest that time. They actually started a "wave" before the concert began!

Anyway, thanks for posting the reviews everyone.

I'm digging the Mayer love sprinkled in this thread.

But to be clear, I wasn't trying to derail the thread with discussion of another artist. I just wanted to illustrate the severe lack of setlist variation by comparison. Bon Jovi used to be known for that same variety Pearl Jam and JM offer to their fans. There was a time that Bad Name firmly occupying slot #2 or #3 was the only predictable aspect in terms of song order. It's disappointing that Jon has resorted to copy/paste sets.

Yeah, it's a bullshit excuse. There is no one at these shows who loves every single song on these setlists unless your name is Jon Bon Jovi. He's playing what he wants to play.

Starting to? It's very obvious she is a troll. She lends zilch to any discussion. Every post is a reply to someone else, attacking their opinion, but not backing her own up with anything of substance. I don't understand why she hasn't been banned yet tbh. She's clearly here just to incite conflict.

I agree that the Montreal shows are great, especially during the encore breaks! I never get bored hearing the ole ole chants. I just can't remember off the top of my head when I couldn't hear Jon at all like I did in TO for It's My Life.

I think it was a one in a lifetime trip for me. The worrying on whether or not the show was cancelled was too stressful! Especially, since everything was non refundable. Oh well, I guess I could've attended the Jays home opener as a backup plan ha ha! I'll stick to the 7hr drive to Montreal so that if the show is cancelled, I wouldn't lose anything .
