Yep. Thank You For Loving Me was played only once after 2001 if I'm not mistaken - and that was the Valentine's show in 2011.

Which one is played the least is very easy to check (setlist.fm), but which one is the most underplayed is the question I'm curious about.

Offtopic, which songs would even come close? On top of my head:

In & Out Of Love (never played since 80s; featured in Cross Roads, so perhaps slightly popular, but substantially less so)
I Believe (perhaps slightly more popular in US, although not in Europe, and played slightly more)
Thank You For Loving Me (very popular in Spotify, YouTube etc., yet barely played after 2000)
Everyday (decent hit in Europe, dropped forever since 2006, even deep cuts from the same album get more spotlight)

I'd still say TAALS beats them all. Although 10 years ago it would be Always by a landslide given how popular it is.
I Believe opened the show throughout the Keep The Faith tour. Since then, a rarity.

But he has crammed down everybody's throats many other songs that also went down like lead baloons and he didn't have a problem, tour after tour. Hence my argument. I'm pretty sure Jon likes TD the album and the lyrics are pretty fitting to his values 20 years ago and now, but the songs are difficult to sing so it's an easy way out. Check any performance from Follow-BWC-WAN and similar songs and compare to recent TD, STBI, TAALS and tell me he doesn't work his ass off to sing them, both because he likes the songs and because they are difficult. Don't you think that a regular fan wouldn't prefer a passionate TD over *insert any non single from LH onwards that's usually a piss break*?

If Jon sang them every night, they would be familiar. Hey, I've gotten my share of TD songs and I know that chances are when I see them again, they'll play at least a couple and many others that won't be played in the NA leg, this is not about my personal preference. It's just that I don't buy the argument precisely because when Jon likes a song no amount of complains every night will change his mind.

Where most TC and WAN songs well received? I understand he has to include the first single for every album to have at least a song that's been on the radio but that doesn't justify Working Men three nights in a row. I know we are stuck with Follow and BWC but all the rest should be on rotation. I'm not asking for TD songs, but why nothing from Crush, Bounce and HAND?
I agree with most of that. To be fair, random songs from Crush, Bounce and Hand do pop up. Open All Night got it's first performance on the Lost Highway tour, Joey sometimes pops up. I don't think we've seen the last of Story of My life. Jon needs to switch it up and bringing back Working Man after not doing it is exactly what you're talking about. The debate is no longer about why can't he bring back previous album cuts, it's why cant he bring ones you like.

Again it boils down to the region the audience is from. North American audiences are not like that. If they don't know it it's a bathroom break, it's a drink break, it's a sitdown song. Working Man is back because the USA is divided. If Jon sang some songs from TD every night would the audience be familiar with it? The casual fan ain't going to more than one show per tour so you're banking on someone hearing it, coming back next tour and hearing it again and then a third time a few tours later. I don't get the logic of training audiences like that, but I've heard a few people talk about it here.

I'm hoping today there'll be a major shake up.

And for the record, I'm with y'all! I would much rather any song from TC. But, my best friend, is the one fan out there that loves both Work and Born To Follow. Go figure lol!

Prague 2013
Milan 2013
Last time I checked those cities where still in Europe not the USA

I haven't find any TAALS in any American leg since TD so probably true what setlist.fm says. How can that be? How can a single not be played ever again?

TAALS, no doubt. Original Always was played in 2001 and 2003 (I think) and then they switched to the TLFR one until 2008 but it was never really forgotten for too long. Everyday is a strange one because it gets buried among all the other similar singles and Undivided was far more popular so I don't know if it would qualify. Undivided gets my vote. Oh and Misundestood and Say It Isn't So too, were singles, were more or less well received. I'd vote for I Believe too.

Thank You For Loving Me is popular? Like worldwide or in a particular country? I've never heard anyone like or talk about that song, that's surprising

Fair enough. That makes a lot of sense

It has 6 M+ hits on Spotify - more than KTF and TAALS, despite not being featured in any of the compilations. Quite a few views on YouTube as well, despite the fact that the original music video is not uploaded on the band's VEVO channel!

The popularity of this song is weird. It was the primary ballad on one of their most popular albums. The chart positions weren't great (I imagine because it was pretty outdated at the time), but at the time they were still coming out of 90s as primarily a 'ballad band'. So while non-Bon Jovi people probably don't know the song it's fair to assume it's popular among casuals, even though it's never been treated by the band as such, based on setlists inclusions, GH snub and MV not even officially uploaded on YouTube.

That's why I started the answer with a 'yes' - saying that your assumption about it not having been played again in the US is correct. The only appearances of the song after the 1995/96 were in Europe.

I will never get how Everyday just could die completely (except for the one show) after 2006. It was a single, a top 40-hit, fairly easy on the vocals for Jon and most importanly a rocker. I would love to see it back in the set list.

I have always believed that Jons disappointment in that Everyday never could hold a candle to It's My Life's sucess, especially as the band raved about being certain it was going to be a hit in 2002, is a major factor in that he simply just want to forget the whole Bounce era. Not even Jon can be that delusional that he sees WLOL, Working Man, Born To Follow, Captain Crash etc. as better live picks.
