Yes. That would equal second-hand treatment to Bulgarian fans.

Just bought the magazine and it says that "secret gig" on May 16th is a test for the band (WITHOUT an audience!!) to get to know the new stage because Vienna will be the 1st show with that stage.

So they exaggerated the whole thing to get a headline.

Maybe 3 days between South Africa and Bulgaria including a long flight isnīt enough time for them to test the whole thing (lights etc.) At least thatīs the only reason I can think of.

I get why you'd be upset but that's a little extreme. I hope you're going to the show to see the band not a giant stage.

I think the new stage is so badass but the band and the songs themselves are what should be important.

Yeah, i got your point. Maybe my initial reaction was a little bit over the top. However, according to our media, the stage they are bringing in Sofia has a brand-new design, which leads me into thinking that we will see the Buick after all.

Default Sofia stage update

Just came across this article:

http://zrockbg.com/novini/zapochna-s...v-sofija-7033/

It's in Bulgarian, but you can also see a picture gallery of the stage construction. The article also says that the new stage will be used for the first time in Sofia. I guess we will know for sure in 10 hrs when the Cape Town show starts. Fingers crossed for South Africans, I hope they get the ultimate experience, too.

No, we won't. But what can we do? Refund our tickets when the band comes here for the very first time, or enjoy the show nonetheless?

My schoolboy Bulgarian:- (Bing Translator)

Continuing preparations for the Bon Jovi concert in Sofia on May 14. In the last two days at the Vasil Levski Stadium arrived 48 trucks carrying the elements of the group-stage, lighting, sound, and part of the equipment for the backstage area for the members of the group management and team – a portable kitchens, washers, dryers, etc.

The view that the Bulgarian audience will see on the day of the show, is very new in production and design. It was created specifically for the upcoming European tour of Bon Jovi and will be used for the first time at the show.

The dimensions of the structure are a record for our country. The stage has a base of 55 x 22 meters and a height of 24 metres. The massive structure is being built for the first time at the Vasil Levski Stadium. Interesting is also the roof structure of the stage, which is an innovative design solution. Details of the new design is being kept in strict secrecy by the team and the group, but the expectations are for something truly impressive.

The construction has already begun and the whole team of professionals, who travels with the Group – about one hundred and fifty people, and one hundred and twenty Bulgarian assistants.

The date of arrival of the group itself also is not specified, but in view of the fact that for the first time, they will embark on a new stage could be expected to arrive in Sofia a few days before the concert.

Stay tuned for more photos and details for the preparation of the concert of Bon Jovi!

enjoy the show...but part of me wants jon to be reminded that richie is missed...jon is in a lose-lose situation for sure, and deals with problems that probably didnt cause himself BUT we have every right to express how unhappy we are with the situation...no real explanation, no nothing...at some point richie will probably come back and they ll act like nth happened hiding behind the "personal matter" excuse
