I mean there are excuses as to why, it could be any number of things, such as for the lighting people or screens/curtains to be synced up. A vocal track to cover Jon is to be expected, but a fully downtuned full track with solo? Doesn't make sense to be deliberately playback, there's so much to lose.

Holy crap - I was at this show and I had no idea this even happened. This was my first show of the tour and I was so pumped to see the opening and the first few songs that I never noticed a problem. We did record and I will pay particular attention when I start to edit.
