What's happened to one of the videos which sparked off this debate? Why has it been removed? Was it fake?

It hasn't been released yet. St. Paul came out yesterday, now we are waiting for Detroit to come out then this one will.

Original poster took it down after the hubbub it created. It's certainly not a fake.

Uploader probably got sick of all the notifications/comments. There's still 2 different videos in the OP, both of which have the same audio glitch.

Its not a difficult song

Come on people, what is this obsession with arguing? Or is it that there are other motives here? For instance oooh look how bad the band is now after Richie left!

Bon Jovi is and always been a live band, they don't lip sync, dont need to. If a song is too hard on Jon's vocals they simply avoid playing it. I have been a fan for 20 some years, lip sync is not in the catalogue.

Not getting into the lip sync debate, I'm asking how come this person didn't notice what happened. In every video I have seen the sound is so clear.

This person didn't notice because it was the first song and I was so excited to be there - and I was singing along. I did notice that the sound was changing - but as I said in my review - that tends to happen at shows during the first song - the person running the soundboard makes changes to improve the sound. It has nothing to do with lousy hearing - everyone around me was also singing along at the top of their voices. I was in a fanclub section with a lot of enthusiastic fans.

Lol

I know, I'm late for the conversation, but these shows are so ... predictable that I have not paid attention to the performances and even the set lists for weeks.

Well, I think the one who plays with fire, in the end it burns. These kinds of mistakes occur because of the sampled tracks to reinforce the sound, do not be deceived, and that is a shame. A shame to pay for a show with 7 musicians on stage and having to witness how the pre-recorded tracks sound so obvious and watch your idol synchronize the lips.

That's definitely not true... I've posted and proven that each performance of that song has been different from show to show...

Back in the 80s , LYHOM started with the Studio track before Tico would kick it off live... The lights were in sync with each drumming beat. Boom boom boom boom, boom boom boom boom... It would be so difficult for the lighting guy and Tico to manually match that each show...

It's the same exact thing but someone forgot to hit 'STOP'... They used the alternate take because it was never supposed to get as far as the vocals so it never really mattered...

That's it.. I'm done with the topic...

Ok, I guess in this song may be true, but, it is not the first time we hear sampled, so my answer is still valid. 7 musicians, why use samples? I can understand that when they were 5 miembers and they were in the ninety or early 2000s, they had to throw some samples into songs that needed more guitar stuffing, but I can not understand how they can fail so much now. The show is simple damn, its light play is very basic in fact, there is not much to synchronize there or here. I hate it when they use samples, it does not matter if it's Bon Jovi, U2 or Metallica ... I hate it, these bands have ever done it, they still do it in certain songs and it kills the experience. They sacrifice a great royal intro for a few lights effects. Meh.

What examples do people have of them using samples this tour with 7 people on stage. Forget about this instance, why are people acting like we've accused them of this in the past few months? People have complained about the sound, never that they were robotic and sampled. Am I wrong?
