I don't see it like that... Bruce is an animal and that's just his thing... Jon is not in competition with Bruce and doesn't have to do it like Bruce... Jon's a 'play by the rules' type of guy...He takes on a lot of management responsibilities with this band and he can't micro manage everything... When it comes to ticket prices and venue curfew times, he's gotta leave it up to his people...

When whoever was developing ticket prices based on the laws of Supply and Demand, curfews might have been overlooked... I don't blame Jon at all for any of this...

Not a believer in the so called "curfews" at casinos. Like was said- Bruce played longer/later at Mohegan. In Vegas GnR didn't hit stage until midnight. And even if Bon Jovi were to violate alleged curfew what's Mohegan gonna do- piss of Jon and ban them or fine them. Good luck securing other bands...

Casino shows are expensive and always short. It's the tradeoff for seeing the band in a small venue. If Tim McGraw and Alan Jackson can charge over $500 for tickets at a casino in Choctaw, MS, (the middle of nowhere) you have to expect Bon Jovi tickets to be expensive at a casino too. Those acts are nowhere near the caliber of Bon Jovi.

I see no difference between seeing them at Mohegan Sun or Boston Garden. I've been saying it for years: Artists should stop playing the casinos. Plenty of other venues to play.

I'd be all fine and dandy having this conversation with you danfan. But if you look at the last three Mohegan sun pbp threads, you can see danfan bitching about the exact same thing over and over again and then everyone indulging him. He even bitched about the length with that really cool one off setlist a few years ago. Why he still sees shows at mohegan sun baffles me.

Dude. Stop going to shows there. The bitching makes you sound like a 5 year old complaining that his friend got a shinier toy than you.... for 6 years straight.

Wow.... So at the 4.20 mark or thereabouts... Jon and David point at each other... Can Jon only hear himself/the band in his IEM? He can't hear the track being played over the top?
