Not strictly true. The long break was due to solo albums (richie & jon), film appearances, art galleries and other projects. The mutiny in management happened in 1992

They will tour in some form next year. Whether its Jon solo or not, Jon needs to stay relevant for the good of his company.

That will probably happen. Jon's made it apparent he is itching to do a solo album. Although i imagine that there will be the usual Starlands Ballroom jobbie again

I think you are right about everything except... I think it will be a little longer than September for another tour. They will probably relelase a live album or a solo album or two or a disc of rarities or something in 9-12 moths to keep their name fresh and then a new studio album/tour in early 2013.

Two years for the band, not 2 years off for the members. Jon will be doing something during this break and I see a solo CD coming out. Also, you never know but they could start writing next year and have the CD out by 2013. It will go quick.

The longest break that they had was between TD and Crush. After that, it's been CD after CD.

In this short-attention-span media age, I don't think ANYONE has the luxury of disappearing for two years!

Yeah you are right, but I wish they did. Churning stuff out constantly isnt a luxury either (for us).

With a band like the stature of Bon Jovi, sure the would have that luxury. Just look at U2 album releases (regarding new songs) for a comparison; 2000, 2004 and 2009.

And regarding the whole record company thing, yes it was in 1992, but remember that they also changed record company between -95 och -00 going from Mercury to DefJam/Island.
