Ye it's the 2nd change I'm talking about, didn't that cause a delay in the album release...I thought there was a merger there somewhere that caused the delay or added to it at least

They said something about disappearing for a while so people appreciate them more when they come back. So they sureley don't need to "keep the name fresh" or anything. AC/DC didn't tour in 5 years, the last album took them 8 years, and yet they are the biggest band around.... again. Bon Jovi's name is big enough for them to do the same. I just hope it won't take that long.

Give BJ a 2 or 3 year hiatus, and they will have more attention than ever. If they don't release another hit single, the tour will be epic.

Hopefully Jon solo album + theatre tour. I'd like to see him collaborate with other artists too, maybe a covers/duets album. Or you know, he could just write DA part 2 that would suit me

If you look at their past schedules you will see that Bon Jovi have often skipped markets for years with no epic results.
Also, there was still 3 years between the Lost Highway Tour and The Circle Tour in their major European markets. The same time gap as a potential new tour in 2014. I can't see any sign why this 2 years break would boost their demand anywhere in the world.

That's true, but how many Europeans also saw shows last June at the o2, knowing those were the only European shows in 2010?

My biggest wish for the future, hopefully next year, are solo albums from both Jon and Richie, more than the band album, which I think will show up in spring 2013. And actually I would be thrilled the most with Richie’s solo album. Since their last solo albums in late 90’, Richie’s life has changed the most, so I think this would give him a lot of meaningful subjects to write about in the lyrics. And as for the music I am sure the genius in him has still so much magic left to be shared with us and lots of amazing guitar solos in store. And he would be able to do whatever he wants on such album and kind of re-invent himself, that could later translate into a fresher band album. Of course he knows this album would never be a commercial hit so he could just focus on music for the sake of music and nothing else. Just for the artist and human in him, to let all those experiences (unfortunately for him mostly downfalls and personal loses) of the last almost 15 years out. I also think that such album would not only be a treat for us fans, but also a kind of therapy for him.

And of course if such album shows up, more than anything I would love him to do a solo tour, probably a short one, but I don’t care. Even few shows in Europe would be perfect. I can’t even imagine how amazing it would be to hear about 20 songs on each show with only Richie on lead vocals. And maybe this would be this once in a lifetime opportunity to hear my fav song of his – Ballad Of Youth, among all the new material. That would be really dream come true.

For now, let’s give him and the band so much deserved break but I think it might happen next year.

I know how much some of you want a solo album from Richie, but I can't help but think that you'd end up dissapointed. I don't think he has it in him to write another Stranger or Undiscovered Soul.
