Default 2005...isn't that a bit early?

Jon's remark about being back in 2005 can be taken a couple of ways. But one doesn't make much sense IMO.

If he was saying to the Giants crowd itself that they'd see THEM in 2005, that would mean the tour would begin late 2004, so the new album would be released mid-2004, recording would be from the start of the year!! No way will this happen, not with him concentrating on his *ahem* movies right now.

I'd think that he means that the band will be back in 2005 for a new album, rather than a tour itself, which I think won't happen until 2006.

I WILL see them then, regardless of where they are playing. :P

Album late 2004/early 2005
Leg 1 of US tour spring 2005
Japan and Australia late spring 2005
Europe summer 2005
Leg 2 of US tour summer/autumn 2005

To me seems possible...

Not if they really are taking a two year break, and jon wants to concentrate on his acting.

i hope Jon will forgot his acting career, this tour they forgot, Australia, France and Brazil (Warrior ?? ). So they should do quick for another album and start another tour asap !

Didn't I read somewhere that him and Richie had already started to write? So it could be possible that a new album will come out late next year.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see though, although I can't imagine having to wait 3 years before seeing them live again!!

If they've started writing, then maybe Laura's fairly optimistic tour plan doesn't sound so far out of whack after all....
