I've been saying this over and over again in the past few years - Bon Jovi doing arenas in Europe is just a urban myth.

It will be stadiums. Period

Its not an urban myth; the Leeds "rumour" is 100% fact - straight from the horses mouth at management there to myself.

Probably as it only holds 20,000.
Wembley Arena 12,500
Alexandra Palace 10,200

Wembley Stadium 90,000
London Stadium 66,000
Twickenham 82,000

I can't see them booking arenas in Europe after booking stadiums on Oz and Japan, and stadiums in that weird asia tour a few years ago. I can see it being a short stint though, one date here and there rather than a couple of nights anywhere and spread out geographically.

I can buy the Leeds booking that never happened being some idea of an "intimate" THINFS-centric idea after they did those theatre dates, but Jon's ego won't see them in arena's for a full tour of Europe.

What I can see is the obligatory London date being a headline spot in British Summer Time rather than trying to sell out on their own. Dublin will be the RDS again, which isn't huge.

Then maybe Old Trafford (cricket) or City of Manchester potentially with reduced capacity so they can 'sell out' and same deal with Murrayfield then a small one or two to fill it out - Ashton Gate, Kirklees or Gateshead.

After that there'll probably just be a 5 or 6 dotted around the continent - Helsinki, Munich and probably a few places they haven't been in 10+ years I reckon.

But yeah, have to agree with Dave that it'll be stadiums, even if it means a struggle to sell the tickets.

They probably have to focus more on Eastern Europe since they can still sell more tickets there. The demand in Central Europe has declined to much. More than two shows in countries like Germany aren't realistic anymore.

They couldnt sell out Wembley Stadium now. Maybe London Stadium but even then I think it would have to be the only date in the UK.

They could never do Wembley/Lon Stad and a few others like previous years. The demand just isnt there.

Maybe go back to Milton Keynes Bowl as that holds 65,000? But even then I dont see 60,000+ venues selling out anymore.

They should do

Wembley Arena
Liverpool Arena
Manchester Arena
Scotland

The only way they would fill stadiums in UK is if it was one date for the entire UK leg of the tour. So one night at MK Bowl or London Stadium.

There's been a long enough gap to potentially have stadiums in the UK - only 2 or 3 tops though. You could do something like Hyde Park and have a bit more of a variable attendance which doesn't notice as much as a stadium if attendance is low.

New White Hart Lane would be a dream for me, but at this rate the tour will be too bloody early for that shambles. As long as it isn't Finsbury Park as that really was a shambles organisation wise this year.

Take That have just announced a tour this morning with a mixture of arenas and stadiums so they could potentially do the odd stadium mixed in with arenas. Although they are doing multi date arenas and single night at stadiums and their demand is no doubt still higher than BJs.

Yesterday BounceSpain confirmed in their fb site, that in a few weeks they will have great news. They cant say anything due to confidentiality.
Its a web that has links with Universal Spain,in the past they were always right with their premieres so I guess there will be a date in Spain.
