LOL

That's some serious correlation there. I finally found an answer to why Bon Jovi still has never played in Russia (except for Moscow Peace Festival, but that was still in crumbling Soviet Union), despite pretty much every other big artist having had a show there

I think much like Super Bowl Half Time, this ship has also sailed. Which is ironic, considering Jon's past stance on Glasto, at least back then he was still somewhat capable of doing it.

No, it wouldn't, it was still bad. The diehards were impressed at the time because their standards have lowered so much from following every show on YouTube. Show the pro-shot version to any other person with ears and they would tell you it sounds horrible.

Plus, it's not like Jon has an 'on/off switch' to reach another gear; otherwise, the HOF performance would not have been as horrible as that was his most important performance in years.
I was at the Sao Paulo concert. Front and center. He still doesnt sound as good, but with thousands of screaming people(mostly women), it becomes bearable. The setlist was better than Rock in Rio though.

These days, I think its the best we can hope for.

iirc sweetmisery, you were coming to Peru for tourism next year
I was at the Sao Paulo show too; I remember JBJ almost cried at that show U_U, I cried in Saturday Night... Sao Paulo show had awesome moments/songs, but it’s true, not the entire show.

there is no band that lasts so many years as BJ and has high level and standards of singing and playing like at the beginning. if you are diehard fan you will enjoy in BJ show today no matter of Jons voice and without low standards. I am fan of Whitesnake and Coverdales voice is in much worse state than Jons but I still enjoy in their show-its called getting older and time passing.

It's one thing to say that they're still great in your eyes and that you enjoy them - absolutely fine.
But the rest is pretty much ignorance. Bon Jovi are not even close to how great they sounded the first two decades.
And there are plenty of acts who've held up way better. Just saw the Scorpions and they are still excellent (including Klaus Meine's vocals).

they are not great but they are pretty good,no one says here that they are great but they are far from bad and horible.
Scorpions are something else, they cant be compared, they changed almost all the band members and they are far from their peak also, but singing wise Klaus is good.

when I watch these proshot videos from Philly,I am good with that,if they can keep that level of singing and playing on Europe tour next year it will be good tour with ups and downs but generally good tour.
