Yes

No, not really. It is too much of a fact for being a creative thought

If that (the second part) were the case Jon woudn't be so desperate for attention

Plus, he already said he has got a small dick

Go to a show then give your opinion rather than calling them a cover band when only watching videos online. If YouTube was around in the 80s everyone would be calling Jon’s voice then too. The whole point of a Bon Jovi concert is the live experience which was good in 2013 despite them being slagged off for the whole year before that too due to videos. It’s the same every tour on here.

I must admit it’s boring now, someone just release the dates so everyone can stop talking sh@te on here and get on with the subject of the thread!

Please
I've been to 4 concerts in 20013. Two were boring while one was terrible (Berlin) an one was good because of the people (Cologne) I didnt mind the videos back then. But I do mind the ones since then. Ergo: I wont enjoy it with this band (cannot stand Shanks and think that Phil doesnt add any soul to it) and the voice is way, way worse.

2008 = Great moments, even some magic
2010 = between average and pretty great
2011 = Some great moments but overall it was just slightly above average for me
2013 = as I said: boring/terrible/pretty awesome / boring
2019 = I doubt very much that I will go because everything got worse after 2013

Cock-wise I trust Howard Stern and he claimed the opposite to be the case. However, Bongiovi's Jon, while not impressive in size, like a fine wine keeps getting better with age!

Hell to the ****, no! You are entitled to your opinion, no matter how ridiculous it may be; but there's no way I'm gonna agree to such nonsense!

Regarding the last thought, as has been said, both Howard Stern and Jon have already laid that idea to rest. (I believe the quote from Jon was that he was "hung like a second-grader.")

After all, who cares if someone can afford to pay what JBJ wants for the Runaway stuff. If people are prepared to pay that, well fair play to him. That's what making money is all about. If I could afford it, I'd go.

I'm also sure that in the last five or six years, almost every Bon Jovi tour has been in the top five most successful of that particular year. You might be able to correct me but I'm sure it's like that. So yes, the demand is there to see him...
Ya ain't frum 'round here, are ya?

If you expect any thread in this forum to stay on topic, you're living in a fantasy world. And about the only times the moderators step in are when someone gets nasty-abusive towards other posters or starts carrying on personal conversations that are unrelated to Bon Jovi. (Well, or if the discussion turns to Richie's departure and somebody bitches about it; but that's a whole other thing.) I think everything else is fair game. If the mods stopped every discussion when it started to go off-topic, not only would it be a full-time job, but the threads would die.

The thing is, conversations start on topic and gradually drift off-course; but they usually come back to topic of their own accord -
usually when something new, that's more related to the topic, comes up.

I'm personally not a fan of deleting posts or moving them and locking threads. A lot of interesting discussions get lost that way. I agree with Walleris, if you don't care for the turn a discussion is taking, ignore it. Check back in another day to see if the news you're looking for has been updated. You can always Google "Bon Jovi Tour dates" to see if there's anything new on the horizon. Or check out bonjovi.com for official word. That way you can skip the discussions altogether.

But if you decide to hang around - and I hope that you do - just be aware that if you're going to complain about it, it might be a good idea to stick to the topic yourself. The bulk of your post isn't about the European tour dates. Most of it was opinions about the same things people have been discussing in the very posts you'd like to see deleted.

(See how easy that happens! Welcome to the party!)

It's those who are not going that have accepted current times and take it for what it is. A shitty coverband with an awful front man...
I see no reason why both points of view can't be accepted. Some people enjoy what the band is doing today, especially in a concert environment. That's not a bad thing, imo, since I'm in no hurry to see that boat sink. It doesn't mean that they're living in the past, or that they don't have ears, just because they enjoy a live show.

By the same token, those who are critical of the band and think they (orJon) sound bad aren't necessarily living in the past just because they think the band sounded better back in the day or that they suck now. It doesn't change the fact that they are fans. Maybe they are and maybe they're not; that's their call, imo. But if there's a rule that says anybody who posts here has to be a fan, I must have missed it.

The only problem I see is when people from one side try to tell people on the other side that their opinions aren't valid. Music appreciation is subjective and the standards individual people hold for it are different. There is no right or wrong. Yes, from a theoretical standpoint, there are generally accepted standards for what makes music "good"; but that has very little to do with what one individual likes or thinks is good or bad.

If people would climb down off their high horses and quit judging others for not seeing the band through the same lens they do, it wouldn't matter that they disagree. It doesn't mean that others are living in the past, or have "tin ears", or that they're not "real fans", just because they don't see things the way you or I do.

I see pink is playing Wembley stadium next June 29th and 30th. Maybe that's the delay with tour as Wembley were sorting her dates first? Just a thought.

In which universe was Berlin 2013 terrible? Sure, it wasn't the greatest show on earth, but Jon's voice was still somewhat good, the set was solid, and the venue was something different compared to the stadiums. Sure, I was mad that I missed that car stage, but other than that, it was quite decent... But then again, you've been negative for quite some time, so how come that I'm not surprised?

Bon Jovi should play Wembley this summer, with Alec on bass (guest appearance in the encore by Hugh), starting the concert with Going Back and ending it with WhoWould You Die For.
