Jon would die... Also BOR, ITA and TD in the same set!

That setlist looks like a (wet) dream today.

David could sing ITA (and if Richie didn't leave, then he could sing TD, not sure about Phil X singing TD though).

Oh no, as much as I love David as a keyboard player, musical author, etc., please don't let him sing, just don't like his voice. Same goes for Phil. And Richie's voice is meant for harmonizing, not for lead vocals...

These sets were an absolute bore. Capt. Crash, Born to Follow and Who Says went over like a lead balloon every show. Because We Can followed by another song from What About Now brought the show down and yet Jon insisted on doing this night after night. It got close to having the TLFR sets on the HAND tour, those didn't work either.

Even for the ones he supposedly geared up he just couldn't wait for it to be over. 3 hour shows on full autopilot with a band trying to cope with a frontman who really didn't want to be there for most nights. No, those set were such a pretty good indication how quickly things had turned around after the 2011 tour.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Yeah, I don't get the fuss about this setlist here either. The encore is very good, but many European shows had great lenghts during the main set. When I was in Munich, it really picked up during the three encores and it was fun there, but the main set was really, really boring. I remember Johny sending me a text with "where are the rarities?" during that time.
Same goes for Milan. Stunning encore, but the main set wasn't too exciting. Other than Cologne, Jon was hardly able to balance the pacing of the setlist properly for an entire show in 2013. 2011 had been much better in that aspect.

Richie is one hell of a guitarist, composer and singer. It's Jon's voice that nowdays isn't good enough even for harmonizing.
