There are so many things they could do - release a promo single (which I'm sure they have at least one song that's more or less ready to go), give fans little song puzzles to figure out bits and pieces of the setlists, have the band members do little Q&As on social media, etc.

Jon can play wine pong and do TikTok dances and challenges to promote Hampton Water, so I'm sure he could do something along those lines for the tour as well.

It's weird that they're really just doing the bare minimum to promote the tour, it's almost as if they WANT it to sell bad.
This this this. The band has gone down in quality big time but the biggest reason the shows ain't selling is zero to none promo. They're banking on people just knowing it's happening and the majority of the people that DO know don't want to go back. Who is this tour even for?

Just decided to revisit my favorite BM performance since 2011, Dallas '13:

https://youtu.be/DQ_X3ighIc8

Could somebody explain, WTF has happened to this Jon? (And I don't even mean vocally, but energy/stage presence wise...)

To me he’s just going through the motions. I think his motivation these days is just about money and proving to his peers that he can still sell out arenas etc. It’s not about performing to the fans or a passion for the music. Whatever Richie’s issues are, he’s always been passionate about the music. That’s the difference between the two of them.

Passionate about making it, so-so about putting it out. Between Jon recording too little and Richie recording too much, you'd think there's a solid album between the both of 'em.

This! This! This!
The vocal decline is one thing. But that lack of interest inside the band is for 1000% the biggest problem that organisation has. I wrote something similiar in another thread a couple of months ago: Crap rolls downhill. And that's the very case with this band. Sad, but true!

I really hope he doesn't have the likes of COPD or emphysema...

I've also read some people imply Jon might be struggling with thyroid issues. Could that be realistic?
I actually think Jon is a guy who's overall in great shape. The guy runs a lot and hits the gym pretty often. And besides the fact he's always drinking Hampton Water on camera, I think his diet is probably pretty healthy. He likes to pretend he doesn't care but I am sure he does.

But, his vocal chords are damaged and that's the only thing that's wrong with him. Not a big problem for most people, but it is when you're the lead singer of a band. It's like the sports-champion who has one too many injuries.

Judging by the way he sounds, the way he breathes and how he tries to push some notes out, it’s clear that his vocal chords are physically past the point of no return. Him being happy won’t change that.

Of course everything went downhill in 2013 after Riche left. So I guess that was the psychological part taking a toll on the physical part. Basically all the shit he went thought in 2013 sped up the deterioration of his voice. But it doesn’t work both ways: him being happy again won’t get his voice back. The damage is physically done.

Indeed. If people mention the fact he has lost self confidence, his vocal issues are the reason, not the result.
